Our Story

Fifteen years,
one standard.

Vera Estates started in 2011 with a single instruction in Dhanmondi and a straightforward frustration: buyers were being shown properties, not being advised about them. The distinction still shapes how the firm works.

We now do two things. We develop a small number of buildings a year, and we advise buyers, sellers, tenants and investors on property across the city. Keeping both sides of that under one roof means our advisory work is informed by what it actually costs to build well — and our development work is disciplined by having to sell to clients we will meet again.

The team is deliberately small. Every client works with one advisor from first conversation to handover, and that advisor has seen every property they show you.

How We Work

Four Principles

These are not values on a wall. They are the tests we apply before taking on an instruction.

01

Local Expertise

Deep understanding of Dhaka’s neighbourhoods, developments, and market dynamics.

02

Curated Property

We focus on properties that meet clear standards for quality, location, and value.

03

Transparent Guidance

Clear information and straightforward advice throughout your property journey.

04

Long-Term Value

We look beyond today’s purchase to the potential of tomorrow’s investment.

Senior Property Consultant

12+ Years ExperienceGulshan · Baridhara · Banani

Arman has worked the Gulshan and Baridhara market since 2014, first on the development side and then in brokerage. He is the person to talk to about what a building is actually like to live in once the marketing suite closes.

Residential Property Advisor

9+ Years ExperienceDhanmondi · Mirpur · Uttara

Nadia handles most of our first-time buyers and relocating families. She is candid about trade-offs — commute against space, new build against established address — and will tell a client to wait when waiting is the right call.

Fahim came from banking and brings that discipline to property. He builds the yield, holding-cost and exit assumptions behind every investment recommendation we make, and shows clients the workings rather than the conclusion.

FAQs

Questions We Get
Asked Most

Do you charge buyers a fee?

No. On a sale our fee is paid by the seller or, for our own developments, built into the price. You will never be asked for a search fee, a viewing fee or a registration fee. For investment advisory work on a portfolio we agree a fee in writing before starting.

Can I use my own lawyer?

Please do. We hand over the full document chain for independent review on every transaction, and we would rather a buyer’s lawyer raised a question early than a problem surfaced at registration.

Do you help arrange bank financing?

We introduce clients to lenders we work with regularly and prepare the documentation the bank will ask for. We are not a broker and receive no commission from any lender — the choice and the terms are entirely yours.

What if I am buying from abroad?

A good share of our clients are. We do video viewings, send unedited walkthrough footage rather than marketing film, and can act on a limited power of attorney where a client cannot travel. Our property management team can take over once you own the asset.

How do you decide what to list?

An advisor visits every property before it goes on the site, and we check title, mutation and dues before publishing. We decline instructions where the documents are incomplete or the asking price has no support in comparable transactions.

What areas do you cover?

Dhaka city. Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara, Dhanmondi, Uttara, Bashundhara, Mohakhali, Mirpur and Purbachal are where we work regularly. We would rather say no than advise on a district we do not know well.

Work With Us

We hire rarely and slowly. If you have worked in Dhaka property and are tired of being measured on listings rather than outcomes, write to us.
